We started as a small group of Jeep owners who just wanted to explore Florida's hidden trails together. Today we're a community of hundreds.
How It Started
Our Story
Florida Jeep Trail Club was founded in 2025 by a handful of off-road enthusiasts who just wanted to "do rides" with no hassle of politics, membership fees and mandatory meetings. After a few impromptu rides, we decided to make it official in 2026.
What started as a group chat turned into a full club with organized runs, trip reports, and a growing community of members from all over the state. We will wheel anywhere from the Panhandle to the Florida Keys, with special trips to Windrock and other out of state events.
Our mission has always been simple: get more people out on the trails. No gatekeeping, no judgment — just good people, good rigs, and great Florida wilderness.
Inclusive by Default
All skill levels, all Jeep models, all welcome. We believe the trails are for everyone.
Leave It Better
We pack out what we pack in and respect the land that gives us these trails.
No Jeep Left Behind
Recovery is a team sport. We don't leave the trail until everyone's out safely.
Always Learning
Every run is a chance to pick up a new skill — whether you're a first-timer or a 10-year veteran.

Jeff Brauer
Founding Member
Jeff has been wheeling Florida trails since 2022 and is the founding member of the club. His theory is that "Jeepin' should be fun, period!"
Chet Stevens
Events Coordinator
Chet organizes every run, manages the calendar, and makes sure no one gets left behind — on or off the trail.
